“ This place is unassuming—we stopped here on the way back from camping just cause it was on the way. But I was very pleasantly surprised! The fish was fresh, the portions were huge, and it was all very reasonably priced! They definitely didn’t skimp on the fish either—both their rolls & nigiri had a great fish to rice ratio. “ I enjoyed a wonderful lunch with my daughter at Sushi Daiyo. The service was extremely courteous and the food was delicious. As of the time of this review the restaurant has only been open a few days and it's wonderful to have yummy sushi on this side of town. They have put a lot of effort into making the interior beautiful and classy, and I will be taking my wife here on our next date night. The food was fresh, our server was attentive, the food came out quick and the presentation was amazing. We had the popcorn lobster and the tempura calamari for appetizers. Both were delicious and the calamari had a nice kick to it. The sushi itself was lovely. We had the spider, the crazy boy, the lion king roll. Definitely going back soon! And right down the street as well. ”
